Vendor list · intelligent automation & RPA

Intelligent automation and RPA platforms, scored on the published rubric.

Process intelligence and intelligent automation - task and process mining, RPA and agentic or GenAI automation, AI decisioning, connectivity across ERP and legacy systems, and enterprise bot governance. Same evaluation protocol as every Yardstick vendor list.

Cohort inclusion criteria

  • Discovery & mining: task and process mining that auto-discovers processes and quantifies automation opportunity.
  • Automation build & execution: attended and unattended RPA, orchestration, and agentic or GenAI automation.
  • AI decisioning: GenAI reasoning, document understanding, and autonomous next-best-action beyond deterministic rules.
  • Governance & scale: bot and agent governance, audit, compliance, and proven enterprise-scale deployment.

This set mixes pure process and task mining with build-and-execution platforms. Each vendor is scored on its actual coverage of every dimension - a dimension a vendor's product category structurally does not address scores zero, not a penalty for missing evidence.

Rubric (7 dimensions)

  • Process/task discovery + mining (16%) - auto-discovery of processes from desktop or event data, with automation-opportunity analysis.
  • Automation build + execution (20%) - attended and unattended RPA, orchestration, and agentic or GenAI automation. The heaviest-weighted dimension.
  • AI decisioning (16%) - GenAI reasoning and document understanding versus deterministic rules.
  • System + connector coverage (15%) - connectors across ERP, CRM, legacy, and desktop, plus UI automation for systems with no API.
  • Bot governance + compliance (12%) - credential vault, audit logs, role-based control, and compliance posture for regulated industries.
  • Enterprise scalability (11%) - proven at large bot and agent estates with named enterprise references.
  • Time-to-value (10%) - fast discovery-to-automation or mining insight, with documented ROI and a clear pricing model.

Top strength Full enterprise build-and-run stack (RPA digital workers plus agentic AI agents) with governance-first controls (AI Gateway: audit trails, RBAC, runtime guardrails) and proven large-scale references; 7-time Gartner MQ RPA Leader.

Top gap No public pricing (quote-only) and no frozen named cohort-peer integrations or specific certifications on the public surface; founded 2001 on a pre-LLM RPA core.

Best for Large regulated enterprises (financial services, healthcare, public sector) seeking governed agentic RPA with process intelligence and proven large-scale deployments.

02 Nividous Unified intelligent automation platform: RPA, agentic/GenAI automation, IDP, and low-code, governed from one control center Cross-industry 78 /100
  • Process/task discovery + mining2 / 4
  • Automation build + execution (RPA + agentic)4 / 4
  • AI decisioning (GenAI/agentic vs rules)4 / 4
  • System + connector coverage3 / 4
  • Bot governance + compliance3 / 4
  • Enterprise scalability3 / 4
  • Time-to-value4 / 4

Top strength Single governed platform spanning attended/unattended RPA, agentic/GenAI automation (Nividous-LLM, model-agnostic across Gemini/Claude/ChatGPT/vLLM), IDP, and low-code, with built-in Control Center governance (audit trails, RBAC, exception routing), SOC 2 + ISO 27001, and a...

Top gap No true process/task-mining engine (process recorders only), no public named-connector library or pricing, and a pre-LLM RPA/BPM core (founded 2011) with GenAI/agentic added later; deployments skew mid-market/SME rather than large-estate enterprise.

Best for Mid-market and SME-to-enterprise teams in regulated industries (financial services, insurance, healthcare, manufacturing) wanting RPA plus agentic automation and governance from one vendor with rapid fixed-price onboarding.

04 Skan AI Context Graph of Work platform that observes how work actually gets done to ground enterprise AI and agentic automation Cross-industry 71 /100
  • Process/task discovery + mining4 / 4
  • Automation build + execution (RPA + agentic)2 / 4
  • AI decisioning (GenAI/agentic vs rules)3 / 4
  • System + connector coverage2 / 4
  • Bot governance + compliance3 / 4
  • Enterprise scalability4 / 4
  • Time-to-value4 / 4

Top strength Best-in-class zero-integration desktop/application observation that distills billions of events into process maps, variant analysis, and prioritized automation opportunities, validated by 41 case studies and Fortune-tier references at tens-of-thousands-of-user scale.

Top gap It is a process-intelligence/observation platform, not a traditional RPA build/execution estate; its agentic execution layer is asserted but lacks documented production automations, and named compliance certifications and a native connector catalog are not on the public surface.

Best for Global enterprises that need rapid, integration-free process discovery across legacy, mainframe, VDI, and desktop environments to ground confident AI and agentic automation initiatives.

05 ARIS Process intelligence platform combining BPM, process mining and AI Cross-industry 67 /100
  • Process/task discovery + mining4 / 4
  • Automation build + execution (RPA + agentic)1 / 4
  • AI decisioning (GenAI/agentic vs rules)2 / 4
  • System + connector coverage4 / 4
  • Bot governance + compliance3 / 4
  • Enterprise scalability4 / 4
  • Time-to-value3 / 4

Top strength Deep event-log process mining with conformance checking plus enterprise-heritage SAP coverage and named global references (Siemens AG, Rolls-Royce, Standard Bank); 2026 Gartner Magic Quadrant Leader for Process Intelligence.

Top gap No native attended/unattended RPA execution engine - identifies automation opportunities and governs agents but does not build/run bots; pricing is quote-only.

Best for Large enterprises needing process mining, conformance analysis and governed agentic foundations, especially heavy-SAP estates.

06 Mimica AI task mining and process intelligence that discovers and prioritizes automation opportunities Cross-industry 48 /100
  • Process/task discovery + mining4 / 4
  • Automation build + execution (RPA + agentic)0 / 4
  • AI decisioning (GenAI/agentic vs rules)2 / 4
  • System + connector coverage2 / 4
  • Bot governance + compliance1 / 4
  • Enterprise scalability3 / 4
  • Time-to-value4 / 4

Top strength Deep desktop task mining (every click and keystroke across all apps, up to 10,000 desktops) with proprietary ROI/automatability scoring, auto-generated process maps, and PDD/BPMN/CSV exports that hand off to RPA and agentic platforms in as little as two weeks.

Top gap Discovery-only by design: builds and runs no automations (automation_build_capability is a structural absence), no bot-estate governance, and pricing is quote-only with no public tier table.

Best for Large enterprises (Finance, Operations, Shared Services) seeking rapid, data-driven discovery and ROI-prioritized automation road-mapping ahead of RPA or agentic deployments.
