Healthcare-rcm cohort weighted rubric (sum-to-100).

Dimension Score Weight Weighted Evidence
AI capability depth 3 / 4 15 11.25 [VENDOR-CLAIMED + THIRD-PARTY] Multi-model architecture: "hundreds of models - shallow + custom fine-tuned + in-house audio/text + LLMs." Patent-pending discrete action space + dynamic knowledge graph + AI review layer + human-in-the-loop. Founded 2019 with voice-AI as the founding thesis (ai_native_score=100). 99% internal accuracy threshold; +10% customer-cited delta vs manual. Caps below 4: foundation LLM undisclosed; no peer-reviewed validation; G2 reviewer counter-signal on BI-completion failures - https://www.infinitus.ai/product/, https://www.infinitus.ai/safety-first-ai/, https://www.g2.com/products/infinitus-ai-agents/reviews
Workflow integration depth 3.5 / 4 25 21.88 [VENDOR-CLAIMED + THIRD-PARTY] SMART on FHIR launch from within Epic, Cerner, Athena (product page). Salesforce Health Cloud + Life Sciences Cloud via MuleSoft + Agentforce (June 2025 partnership deepening) with consulting partners Accenture, Slalom, ZS. MCP Server (Oct 2024) for agent-to-agent interoperability. 1,400+ payors covered for voice leg. Clearinghouse-based medical-benefits verification GA Oct 2025. Caps below 4: SMART on FHIR resource scope + specific clearinghouse partners not enumerated - https://www.infinitus.ai/product/, https://www.prnewswire.com/news-releases/infinitus-deepens-partnership-with-salesforce-to-accelerate-ai-agent-adoption-in-healthcare-and-life-sciences-302490302.html
Vertical specialization 3 / 4 15 11.25 [VENDOR-CLAIMED] Payor-specific knowledge graph (1,400+ payors). Pharma / specialty-pharmacy hub services (8 of 10 top pharma; IBM Consulting partnership Sept 2025). Patient-facing voice-AI launched Apr 2025. Health-plan agentic AI suite launched Nov 2025. Caps below 4: prior_auth sub-segment lacks automated peer-to-peer review or auth-determination AI (Cohere Health's territory). Does not address clinical coding, post-bill denials, referral fax intake - https://www.infinitus.ai/about, https://www.infinitus.ai/newsroom/
Implementation + time-to-value 2.5 / 4 10 6.25 [VENDOR-CLAIMED] Consulting partner ecosystem named (Accenture, Slalom, ZS + IBM Consulting). Studio no-code agent builder (Apr 2026) claims "90% faster deployment." Caps below 3: no published "X weeks to first agent live" SLA; top-3 payor case study describes multi-quarter onboarding ("dedicated infrastructure, dedicated phone number, agent training programs"); Studio 90%-faster claim too new for independent validation - https://www.infinitus.ai/newsroom/, https://www.infinitus.ai/case-studies/leading-us-payor/
Data + compliance posture 3 / 4 20 15.00 [VENDOR-CLAIMED] SOC 2 Type II + HIPAA BAA + CCPA + AES-256 at rest + TLS 1.2+ in transit + GCP KMS keys + US-only data residency + annual pen-test. Industry-leading PHI-training opt-out by design: "No PHI is ever used to train the Infinitus digital assistant or any of our machine learning models" + "All PHI deleted within a fixed period per customer agreement." Caps below 4: vendor-held HITRUST CSF not held (Infinitus uses "runs on a HITRUST Certified Cloud" GCP-cert framing - weaker than Cohere's r2 + URAC + NCQA or Hippocratic's e1). ISO 27001 cited only as GCP cert. Sub-processor list + BAA template + incident-response SLA not public - https://www.infinitus.ai/trust, https://www.infinitus.ai/safety-first-ai/
Pricing + scalability 2.5 / 4 5 3.13 [VENDOR-CLAIMED + THIRD-PARTY] Scalability evidence excellent: 100M+ minutes, 5M+ calls, 1,400+ payors, 44% of Fortune 50, 8 of 10 top pharma, Memorial Hermann strategic-investor-customer. Pricing transparency is the constraint: /pricing renders 200 with model description (annual platform + license + per-task / per-minute + subscription) but every dollar amount is "Contact us." Better than cohort peers who 404 their /pricing (Adonis, Tennr, Cohere, Hippocratic) - https://www.infinitus.ai/pricing
Vendor strength + named-customer evidence 3.5 / 4 10 8.75 [VENDOR-CLAIMED + THIRD-PARTY] Series C $102.9M total, a16z lead, Memorial Hermann strategic investor. 15+ named payor customers (CarelonRx, UnitedHealthcare, Express Scripts, Humana, Optum Rx, Cigna, CVS Caremark, Aetna, MedImpact, UMR, Meritain Health, Prime Therapeutics, SS&C Health, Anthem case-study attribution, Zing Health). Amgen + 8 of 10 top pharma. Technology partners: Google Cloud, IBM, Salesforce, Cisco. Silver Stevie 2024. Caps below 4: outcomes are vendor-authored case studies; no KLAS / Forrester / Gartner coverage; no peer-reviewed validation - https://www.infinitus.ai/, https://www.crunchbase.com/organization/infinitusai

Penalties applied

Penalty model in this cohort: headline = base - penalty_deduction. Soft pricing-transparency penalty in healthcare-rcm typically deducts ~14 points per the cohort norm (Cohere 43.1 with soft, Adonis 23.4 with hard + cohort-fit, Tennr 38.8 with hard, Hippocratic 31.9 with soft + soft scale + soft cohort-fit). Applying same-shape soft deduction yields:

Headline score: ~63 / 100 (within the 60-67 band; finalized at scoring time by compute_headline_score.py)

Editorial assessment

Infinitus is the most operationally mature voice-AI-for-healthcare platform in the healthcare-rcm cohort. The case is built on three load-bearing claims that each survived triangulation in this research window. First, scale: 100M+ conversation minutes, 5M+ calls, 1,400+ payors, 44% of Fortune 50 healthcare and 8 of 10 top pharma as customers, plus Memorial Hermann as both Series C strategic investor and production customer. Second, architecture: a multi-model design where the discrete action space + dynamic knowledge graph + AI review layer + human-in-the-loop guardrails are a credible answer to voice-AI hallucination risk that most cohort competitors do not have. Third, integrations: SMART on FHIR launch from within Epic / Cerner / Athena (better than the Adonis position on FHIR), Salesforce Health Cloud + Life Sciences Cloud via MuleSoft + Agentforce with named consulting partners, plus the October 2024 MCP Server for agent-to-agent interoperability.

The strongest single security-posture signal in the cohort is the PHI-training opt-out by design: "No PHI is ever used to train the Infinitus digital assistant or any of our machine learning models," reinforced by "All PHI deleted within a fixed period per customer agreement." Most peers have not disclosed at this level of explicitness; many have not disclosed at all. The complement is honest about gaps: vendor-held HITRUST CSF certification is the one place Cohere Health (r2 + URAC + NCQA) and Hippocratic AI (e1) outrank Infinitus, and the "runs on a HITRUST Certified Cloud" framing is a GCP-cert claim, not an Infinitus-vendor cert.

The cohort-fit position is straightforward. Infinitus is the right answer for prior_auth + patient_access_intake + payor-call-automation - benefit verification, prior auth status, formulary exception follow-ups, IVR bypass via FastTrack. It is the wrong answer for clinical coding (CodaMetrix, Nym, SmarterDx own that), post-bill denial appeals (Adonis, Janus, AKASA), referral fax intake (Tennr), CDI auditing (Iodine), or hospital scheduling / front-desk patient intake (Phreesia adjacency). A buyer running benefit-verification queue length or time-to-therapy as a board-level metric will out-perform with Infinitus than with any other vendor in this cohort.

The undisclosed foundation LLM is the standard agentic-AI opacity gap, not unique to Infinitus, but for a vendor whose pitch is "safety-first AI" the architecture page should name the model layer. The April 2026 Studio launch (no-code agent builder; 40% more accurate / 90% faster deployment / 100% protocol compliant) is too recent for independent measurement; cap weight on those numbers until production buyers report. The G2 reviewer counter-signal ("times the AI will have errors or is unable to complete the BI successfully, which doubles their work") is the customer-reality grounding the 99% vendor accuracy threshold needs.

When to revisit Infinitus: a vendor-held HITRUST CSF tier with date, the foundation LLM(s) named, a third-party-measured outcome on a named customer (KLAS / Forrester / Gartner / peer-reviewed), named clearinghouse partners for the October 2025 GA, Studio post-launch independent benchmark data, a starting dollar anchor on /pricing, or an ISO 27001 vendor-held certification.

Right-of-reply gaps

The right-of-reply email to Infinitus should ask for:

  1. Foundation LLM provider(s) and architecture (RAG over the knowledge graph? Fine-tune on top of which base model? In-house?).
  2. Vendor-held HITRUST CSF tier (r2 / e1 / i1) - or confirmation that the "runs on HITRUST Certified Cloud" GCP-cert framing is the durable positioning.
  3. ISO 27001 vendor certification status.
  4. SOC 2 Type II audit date + auditor name.
  5. Public sub-processor list.
  6. BAA terms / template availability.
  7. Even with "no PHI in training," what data IS used to fine-tune? Opt-out configurability?
  8. Named clearinghouse partner(s) for the October 2025 medical-benefits-verification GA.
  9. Any independent third-party-measured outcome on a named customer (vs vendor-authored case studies).
  10. Studio post-launch independent benchmark data on the 40% / 90% / 100% claims.
  11. Memorial Hermann production-scope detail + a non-investor-affiliated health-system reference at similar scale.
  12. Veeva CRM native integration status (for life-sciences customers not on Salesforce Life Sciences Cloud).
  13. Pricing dollar anchor at common deployment sizes (1M / 10M / 100M minutes per year).
  14. Patient-facing voice-AI (April 2025) - first production customer reference?
  15. G2 aggregate rating + review volume.
