Editorial assessment

Othot is the most AI-native platform in this cohort, built from inception as an ML-driven prediction engine for enrollment management rather than as a CRM with analytics bolted on. The 1,000+ active institutional models, 5M+ daily prescriptive recommendations, and "High Impact Question" scoping methodology represent a credible technical approach: institution-specific models trained on that institution's historical data, delivering individual-level enrollment probability scores and intervention recommendations directly into the CRM interface the enrollment team already uses. The Slate Preferred Partner integration - where Othot scores appear automatically within the Slate counselor workflow without requiring a platform switch - is the strongest proof of workflow-embedded delivery in the cohort.

The structural weakness is the gap between technical capability and public evidence. Post-acquisition by Liaison International in 2021, Othot's independent public profile has diminished.
